Bent handles with knuckle clearance, filled with low-charging hog bristle or horse hair. The standard tool for cleaning flux, dust, and debris off PCBs, keyboards, and assemblies in a liquid or solvent environment. Dry ESD areas need dissipative or conductive fill instead.
Fill. Horse hair is softer and safer around fine leads. Hog bristle is stiffer and clears flux and debris faster. The 221CKHH carries one of each on a double head.
Construction. Staple-set plywood and plastic handles are the workhorse. Hand-laced aluminum handles (11HHA, 22HHA, 33HHA) have no staples to corrode and stand up to repeated washing.
Reach and angle. 14-inch handles (15CKL, 15HHL) reach into enclosures. The 60° bent head (60CK, 60HH) gets under components.
Environment. Anti-static natural fill is ESD-safe only while wet. For dry benches, switch to static dissipative or conductive fill.
Different row count, trim length, colored handle, or a private label on the handle: the hand-held design sheet takes about four minutes and quotes within hours. Custom builds ship in 2 to 4 weeks.
